Successful people learn very early in their lives that getting up early makes them a lot more productive. They usually have their day full and have a lot to accomplish. So there is no time to waste.

We all know that it is not easy to get up early if you did not get enough rest... and of course, if you are not used to it! So, start easy, begin getting up 10 minutes early every other day and plan your day first, schedule around 7 hours of sleep (usually that is what most people need) and get to bet early.

Now, how getting up early can help you to be successful in life?

1. Silence / Meditation

Early morning is a great time for you to practice meditation. You body and mind are more connected from a good night rest and you can get into a deep relaxation easier.

2. Less distraction

Early birds know that early in the morning, alone, is the best time to be productive. You can put your thoughts together and actually get a lot of work done before anyone else awake.

During the day family, co-workers, emails, phone calls and other urgent matters interrupt you. constantly. Effective people know that they accomplish things and get more things done when they are not interrupted.

3. Exercise

Yes, you will have time to exercise!

Early risers know that when you start your day with a good exercise, you feel great for the rest of the day. You are more enthusiastic and energetic.

Sometimes it is impossible to squeeze a good workout into your day. Exercising in the morning will not only regulate your routine, but also give you lots of energy for rest of the day.
Try to exercise for at least 150 minutes a week. That is about 30 minutes for 5 days in a week.

4. Breakfast

You will have time to have a great breakfast.

People usually complain that they did not have time to eat breakfast. Scientists have proven that it is the most important meal of the day and you should never neglect it. Early birds have time to prepare a good breakfast, they also have time to sit, eat and enjoy it.

Many heart diseases and other health problems are associated to the fact that people have a poor breakfast or skip it. That alone is worth the effort of doing it.

5. Get things done

After a long day, you can look back and fell that you actually accomplished the most important things you had planned for your day.

Early risers know that by the end of the day, those couple of hours that they had in the morning really made a difference and that they truly got things done.
